What you’ll practice

This drill presents a national flag and asks you to type the country name. It is a recall exercise, so the response is not reduced to a multiple-choice guess.

A useful way to practice

After a miss, compare the flag shown with the country you had in mind and name one distinguishing feature. Return after time has passed; that delayed retrieval is what makes a flag easier to recognize later.

The drill uses Terra Tempus’s world-country pack and its national-flag reference fields. Country outlines are supplied from the project’s Natural Earth-based map data.

Put the map to work in history

Once a place feels familiar, use it in a Terra Tempus history round: read a clue about a real, sourced event, place it on the map, then set it in time.
