Practice African countries

Opens: Locate each country from its name. Free to start as a guest.

What you’ll practice

This drill focuses on the Africa country pack. You receive a country name, choose its location on the map, and see the answer before moving on.

A useful way to practice

Anchor yourself with coastlines and a few familiar neighbors, then work outward. The goal is to build a map of relationships, so pause after a miss and compare the correct outline with the place you chose.

The drill uses Terra Tempus’s Africa country pack. Country outlines are supplied from the project’s Natural Earth-based map data.

Put the map to work in history

Once a place feels familiar, use it in a Terra Tempus history round: read a clue about a real, sourced event, place it on the map, then set it in time.
