Terra Tempus Terms of Service
Effective July 25, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Terra Tempus (the “Service”), operated by Endpaper Labs LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Terra Tempus is a geography and history guessing game. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment and education.
Your account
You may play as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to consent under your local law. You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Delete account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or its content except as allowed by law;
- cheat, automate play, or manipulate scores, streaks, or leaderboards;
- disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; or
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Your display name is visible to other players on the leaderboards. Choose one that is not obscene, hateful, harassing, or impersonating — we may reset names that are.
Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, and original content are owned by Endpaper Labs LLC and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app. Factual reference data is derived from Wikidata (released under CC0); clues and explanatory text are our content. You receive no ownership rights in the Service.
Subscriptions and purchases
Terra Tempus is free to play. Terra Tempus Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that adds the themed content modules and your full statistics; the core game, the Daily Challenge, all 5 regions and all 6 eras, the Atlas and Codex, and the leaderboards remain free.
Pro is offered monthly or yearly, and there are now two places to buy it: in the Terra Tempus apps through the App Store or Google Play, or directly on this website. In the United States it is $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year either way. Which one you used decides who charges you, how tax is applied, and where you cancel, so the terms below say so each time it matters.
Who charges you. If you subscribe in the app, Apple or Google is the seller for that purchase, they charge you, and their refund policies apply. If you subscribe on this website, Endpaper Labs LLC is the seller and charges you through our payment processor, Stripe. In both cases we never receive or store your full payment-card details.
14-day free trial. Both ways of subscribing begin with a 14-day free trial, and you are not charged during it. In the app the trial is granted once per subscription group per store account, so you get it on whichever plan you pick first, not on both, and the store tells you at purchase if you have already used it. On this website the trial is granted once per Terra Tempus account. Unless you cancel before the trial ends it converts automatically to a paid subscription at the price above. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. Starting a paid subscription forfeits any unused portion of a trial.
Tax. For an app purchase the store shows the final price in your currency, including any tax, before you confirm. For a purchase on this website the prices above are in US dollars and exclude tax; any VAT or sales tax we are required to collect is calculated from your billing address and shown on the checkout page before you pay.
Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and interval until you cancel. In the app the store bills you within 24 hours before each period ends. On this website Stripe charges the card you used, on the same date each period. If we change the price we will tell you in advance and you may cancel before it takes effect.
How to cancel — app purchases. Use your store’s subscription settings — apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions on iOS, or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions on Android — at least 24 hours before the current period ends. We cannot cancel a store subscription for you.
How to cancel — website purchases. Sign in here, open your Pro page, and choose Manage subscription, which opens the billing portal where you can cancel. It is entirely online: you never have to call us, email us, or speak to anyone to cancel. A website subscription will not appear in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, so that is the only place to cancel it.
What cancelling does. It stops future renewals. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, on both channels.
If a renewal payment fails on a website subscription, Stripe retries your card for a while. We leave Pro switched on during those retries so a temporary card problem does not interrupt you. If the payment ultimately does not go through, the subscription ends and Pro ends with it — you are not billed for, and do not keep, a period that was never paid.
Deleting your account. Deleting your Terra Tempus account cancels a website subscription immediately, including any time you have already paid for — unlike cancelling, it does not run to the end of the period. It does not cancel an app-store subscription; you must also cancel that in your store settings, or you will keep being billed.
Refunds. For an app purchase, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. For a purchase on this website, contact us at hello@endpaperlabs.com and we will deal with it directly.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase of digital content within 14 days. Because Pro gives you immediate access, you agree that performance begins at once and acknowledge that you lose that withdrawal right once it does. Separately from that right, and whichever way you subscribed, you can cancel during the 14-day free trial and pay nothing. Store-level refund policies still apply to store purchases.
We never receive or store your full payment-card details.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Endpaper Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.
